  1. Love that you put videos like this out there…but gutted that the irons I use Wilson D7 Forged or the newer D9 Forged version haven’t made the list.

  2. My top 5 on my wish list currently are Takomo 101s, Cobra King forged tech, Titleist T200, TM P790, Wilson Staff D9. I've hit almost all the releases and these were my personal favorites. Curious to see how many of these make your list.

  3. What do consider Mid-Handicap?
I play off 9 and play p790 (2018) and am looking for a bit more forgiveness

  4. How about PXG 0211 irons? Just switched to them & they are awesome…how about, maybe a review video of them? When I bought them they were $79 per club.

  5. Just ordered Hot Metal Pro's yesterday. Hit all the major brands and for my swing these were the winners

  6. Curious why Callaway rogue st max/os irons didnt make the cut here or on your high handicap top five either. I just bought Rogue ST max os iron set and felt they felt better than others I tried out. So far I am happy with them.

  7. Great review. I am due for new irons. I’m selling my 2018 P790s Blacks. In the time I’ve used them I realized that I prefer 1/2” longer with a 1° upright increase., XStiff. Covid allowed me to experiment. I’m going to order the Takomo 101T. I’m not the greatest golfer, but I love golf. And Takomo offers the best option for my self fitted needs, at a reasonable $$$. (Or, in your case £££…or, are those the same now?)

  8. Another quality video, your work ethics is incredible. I struggle to get 2 videos a week out, quality videos everyday. Respect James.

  9. Takomo should be #1 just for price James amazing clubs and what a price 👏 bet don't many buy them though

  10. I am mid handicapper and I wouldn’t buy any of them. I want something with a bit of spin something with loft on like 33 7 iron. Maybe even king mim irons

  11. Iv got the taylormade p790 irons and they are excellent clubs 👌 👏 👍 well done James

  12. Another great review James! I'm going to be changing my irons soon and I'm considering two in your list.

  13. Before the video starts I am going to guess the 5 irons in this video in random order😅
    1. Wilson d9 forged
    2. TM P790
    3. Cobra forge tec
    4. Mizuno 225
    5. Takomo 101s/201 – Titliest t200

  14. Love your videos but slightly confused that Cobra Forged Tec X made Mid-High top 5 last week versus LTDx in Mid and that 225 was Mid-High versus 923 in Mid. Does this make sense as they really should be the other way around. Also I thought that 101s were most similar to 790s and 101Ts to 770 which is more a players iron. My top 5 would be the 101s, T200, P790, 225s and Cobra Forged Tec X

  15. I'm a mid handicap myself and I find it really hard to beat the overall look, feel and performance of my Apex Pros

  16. Great video! Curious – how is the blade length of the Takomo compared to the P790? I can’t seem to find the length of the P790 online. Lee up the good work!
