I review the new Mizuno JPX923 Irons…the Hot Metal – Hot Metal Pro & the new model of the JPX923 Hot Metal HL golf iron that stands for high launch. these new golf clubs are aimed at the mid to high handicap golfer and the golfer with a slower swing speed like a senior player. This JPX 923 range sits along side the Mizuno Pro 225 223 & 221 irons.

  1. Mizuno are really missing out on the 923 Tour and Forged I fear. 2nd release of the line always seems to slip through the cracks.

  2. it’s nice to see that the jpx line is still there. the mizuno pro lines were different. they are different. love my 225’s . can’t imagine needing any other iron set ever. but now i’m drooling

  3. Still my favorite YouTube channel for new product reviews after 3 years. Thank you Michael!

  4. Still gaming my 919 HMPs but I'm very excited to test the new 223 HMPs and even the HL. The prices I'm seeing are pretty good also. 965 usd to 865 for 4-pw. New Fli-Hi hybrids are coming also.

  5. My big Bertha 2006 7 iron is 33 degrees loft haha. Time for some new irons! Hoping the last gen version drop in price a nice amount.

  6. The fact that they're offering a HL version & your comments that many players will fit into these clubs, just confirms the insanity of this 5-yr industry trend of loft-juicing was completely insane. The 33-degree 8-iron loft of the Hot Metal & Pro version should have stayed as a 32-31 degree 7-iron – i.e. modern standard lofts because all they've done is made a 28.5 degree 7 iron which is really a slightly strong 6-iron which should have 6-iron stamped on the club

  7. Nice looking irons you never mentioned what the standard steel shaft was and the price per iron . They were impressive, great video

  8. What are the main differences performance wise between the Hot Metal Pro and the Pro 225? Thanks!

  9. This is what’s gonna happen…I’m gonna sell my 921 tours, buy the 923s and then get pissed when titleist comes out with some spectacular new t series iron after spending $1,800
