  1. If you take the 85% of golfers that are slicers and get them to do these drills where the hips open up even more, then all they're going to do is slice the ball more. Faster hips, for golfers with open faces, is going to require even more of a wrist&hand flip to attempt to square the club. The actual flattening of the club should be done, like Pros do, with a firing of the right elbow and the simultaneous loading of the right wrist into extension & twisting the grip to shut the face

  2. Slowing down was difficult at first but it’s helped me hit more fairways and greens in regulation this year.. with greater distance/control… makes a huge difference when you hit the middle of the face.

Smooth is better than fast. Don’t rush your swings!

  3. Been working on trying to find "the power slot" lately… and boy have I messed up my drives lately. Thanks for the advice! Will work with this tip from now on! 👌

  4. Good grief Alex at 0:52, it is not a family friendly moment!!😂. I am absolutely NOT doing that to a buggy at my club in Scotland!

  5. YES!!! Ben Hogan's advice is as sound today as decades ago. Essentially, he believed that whatever you think the problem is in your golf swing, immediately think the opposite. Alex's advice is just as sound. Great job, Alex!!

  6. I like to think that I'm pausing at the top, I know I'm really not but kind of falls in line with what you're saying.

  7. simple to the point, great explanation, I'm trying this tomorrow, this is what i was looking for to get the right move.

  8. Coach, I have a suggestion for a future clip. We all have a stretch where we are playing well and steady around or below our handicap, then out of the blue, the wheels fall off and you start playing terrible. Surely you have heard this from students. Maybe you could compile a list of checkpoints to go over which could be causing it so you can get back on track faster. It might be hard for you to do but I know it's something that plagues all of us. Thank you for the consideration, a great channel.😊⛳

  9. You have my attention now……I have been trying that move and it has ruined my game lately. When it works I hit the ball a mile, but it is so inconsistent. I am going to try the technique you are advocating as I believe it is close to the way I use to hit the ball before watching those other You Tuber and changing my swing.

  10. I often play by myself to practice… if I’m caught gyrating on the golf cart I’d get laughed off the course 😂 😂

  11. Thanks for the great Tips again Alex. Will it be possible to get SLOMO of the SWINGs as it much easier to follow. Many thanks.

  12. Great video alex.definitely putting this to the test at the range.I do struggle with rotation due to an ongoing back injury but if I can find the right gear,it will hopefully work for me without damaging myself. Great work👏👏

  13. From the other YouTubers their argument here is is that the hands have to catch up with the body because they have further to travel so they dont get stuck. How does the concept your explaining above keep the hands from getting stuck? I hear all the time that it’s rotation after you get to that power position. Honest question as I’m super confused over here lol.

  14. And just to clarify, this drill and process can work for all clubs in the bag?

  15. Did the ground crew try to stuff money in your belt? Lol I don’t think I could do that move with the guys that I play with

  16. Alex, you say hands ‘as high as you can for as long as you can’; isn’t high hands a problem if they get raised above the swing plane? I’ve got a bad habit of lifting hands at top instead of focusing on keeping left arm at just across chest (as in your drill) while turning back… so fight to shallow the club instead of just turning. Perhaps ‘as back as you can for as long as you can’?
