Great follow up video to your last one about LIV Golf. I think the PGA Tour and JM look terrible. Just reacting to LIV instead of actually having a long term plan. All the top dogs on the PGA Tour should thank LIV for the suddenly found millions of dollars that are being added to the prize money. Where was all this money for the last 20 years? Both tours will probably survive, but I get bored watching normal PGA Tour events. The majors are great, but I only watch YouTube highlights for the others. Same old commentary, same old jokes, same old format. At least LIV is different and drastically more entertaining to watch.
Saudi Arabia is a country. It just seems stupid that people can’t understand just because Saudi’s are funding it is not the same as saying it is funded by terrorists. It’s up there with calling republicans racist or saying that Biden is running the country. It’s propaganda. Smoke and mirrors, brainwashing.
Matt that was awesome!! totally how i feel about this. All the changes that PGA tour has made was because of LIV. I still dont understand why all the animosity towards another tour. Competition is suppose to be great for the game so let it be..

The PGA remainers owe LIV golf a huge thank you for the changes the PGA has been forced to make.
I've been stunned by the hypocrisy of the PGA Tour. Everyone on that Tour should send Phil Mickelson a nice gift for Christmas. He basically took one for the team to be a catalyst for change in the professional game.
I am waiting to find out more and watch the video about TGL. But on the surface it seems Iike Tiger and Rory got their own league with private backed funds . The league competes directly with the PGA Tour in the same markets the same week as The PGA Tour.
LIV clearly evokes strong feelings – it would be silly to think that Fred and and DLIII wouldn’t also have strong, or even stronger feelings about it than the fans who are frothing at the mouth. Do you really believe Greg Norman, who still has a Finchem voodoo doll that he abuses every sunrise before he gets in his coffin to sleep, wants to cooperate with the PGA Tour? He didn’t like his fellow tour members even when he played on tour.
The Saudi money is the weakest argument against LIV. It’s a fury sparked and fueled by the PGA Tour PR/Media machine to get the lowest hanging fruit in a frenzy. But all is fair in love and war, and business is absolute war. The PGA Tour has this ace up their sleeve, and as unfair, irrelevant, hypocritical, or even irrational this blood money label may be, it sticks and it’s effective. No sponsors are flocking to LIV, in no small part because of this dirty play by the PGA Tour.
The biggest problem with LIV (even bigger than having the bristly, historically angry and egotistical Greg Norman as CEO) is its product. Maybe it’s the format, maybe it’s the specific players, but virtually nobody watches it. I put a video of my cat falling into the toilet on YouTube, and it got more views in 24 hours than the first three LIV events combined total views to date. It’s not because my cat refused Saudi blood money, either. LIV is just a virtual non-event. Period. LIV needs time? Cat Falling in Toilet was my cat’s media debut. If you need time in the online world, it ain’t ever gonna happen. There’s no viral component to LIV. There’s no Rory chasing a remote control ball (which also outdrew LIVs 3 events combined). Virtually nobody watches, virtually nobody goes. Tickets were $1 to bedminster, and didn’t get bought. Tickets to Boston were $34 yesterday, and $27 today. I hope LIV has a guy assigned to buy tickets from stubhub at a preset floor, because the $1 ticket price was embarrassing. Literally no company has signed on to be a corporate sponsor and no US broadcast partner can be found. That makes it the business equivalent of a hospice patient on a respirator who can’t pay their power bill.
Yes the Saudis won’t run out of money, but LIV has issues money can’t fix. But how long will a guy throw dollar bills at a stage full of 50 year old exotic dancers? Couldn’t say for sure, but every aging stripper will tell you that there’s a shelf life to that game. Here’s a rock solid promise: the Saudis will stop going to that strip joint at some point, and find another place to make it rain.
I hope these guys got their money up front, because you can’t sue MBS. Not only do our laws disallow it, but from a practical perspective, it’s a poor choice.

At last someone who knows whats happenning. You have everything spot on. As an X UK PGA member I could see this was going to be a good thing for USA PGA players and Phil Michaelson was right, he knew players were not getting the best from the USA PGA Tour. It is also no surprise that the DP tour is taking full advange of LIV players at the BMW at Wentworth, as now the Corn Ferry tour players get a gauranteed $500,00 if in the top 25 season end, the DP tour will loose its top players in no time for this opportunity so why not raise your profile with ranking points.. I also prefer the coverage on Youtube I get fed up with adverts and the same players only being offered on TV coverage. Youtube offer a better wall to wall coverage of everyone apart from the conclusion which makes sence. Great stuff keep it coming.
LIV is offering places on Roster from Asian moneylist. Players that would have gone to PGAT will now not take 500k guaranteed and go to LIV for guaranteed 14 x 120k getting on for 2mill minimum . I imagine same will be offered to top DP players instead of taking a PGA card .

The Dubai Partners and the Saudi's are thick as thieves on ideology, politically, socially, and most everything else. What has any President or political party done since Sept 11, 2001 to punish them or hold them accountable? Channel your anger on Joe Biden. He is rewarding them with oil purchases. Don't blame professional golfers for something that happened 21 years ago when most were small children. The attack was tragic but blame your leaders not golfers.
I do think LIV getting stood up allowed the PGA players to force the Tour to change, which will be a good thing. One thing that annoyed me about the guys leaving for LIV, is how they justified it… grow the game, etc. etc. When someone in the NFL signs a contract with a new team, they come out and say I was offered more money here and did what's best for my career… just tell the truth – they took the money and that's okay! With regard to the actual entertainment product… it's hard for me to get into.. Only streaming options being their own website and YouTube isn't viable long-term, so it will be interesting how they go about that. The whole team thing has been weird as well because they've changed – and it's not really clear how it plays into it all. Other pro sports have a superbowl, world series, finals.. I don't see how this league is about anything other than money.. which again is okay, but just say that.

Jay Monahan will be gone and replaced probably within the next six months.
He has already failed miserably, especially given the high salary he is being paid.
Greg Norman keeps making all the right strategic moves with LIV Golf, and they will finish 2022 with big momentum heading into the 2023 season, when LIV will probably explode globally.
Anyone who still keeps harping on that mistaken narrative that the PGA is the only professional golf tour that matters, or should matter, are in for a very rude awakening in 2023.
The majors would be beyond stupid to ban any LIV golfers from their events, of which I am sure they are already well aware, and they should actively be lobbying the OWGR for a new ranking system that would recognize the LIV Golf tour, or dispense with using the ranking system altogether.

Couples and Davis Love are clowns to attack the LIV players. PGA Tour players are getting benefits they would never have gotten if not for the competition of the LIV Tour. You don't have to like the LIV Tour to appreciate what they have done for all the PGA players. Most of the PGA Tour events don't have many of the top 25 players playing in them. Who wants to watch a PGA Tour event when you don't know 90% of the players.
Perhaps there are non PGA fans out there who will go to LIV events but it seems like most fans do not appreciate having the tour they love trashed and will be passing.

LIV golf is getting better with each tournament. The team concept is great. It keeps all the golfers motivated. Idiots like Freddy Couples are all bent out of shape because there is no cut, why is missing a cut such a good thing?
