Hey Matthew…finally got my player III! Was going to put a pic up but can’t work out how to upload one! Love it…it’s really a stunning bag. It is worth noting for people that it is a bit heavier. I like to carry my bag and I’m not too bothered about the extra weight as I carry my bag for exercise (I’m 49) but it does make a small difference. Having said that, I cannot see me buying a bag from any other company. The quality is second to none and the looks speak for themselves! Hope you are well and thanks again for the original review…it’s what swayed me to a great purchase! Dave
Great video. Thank you! When using 14 clubs, did you have issues with clubs getting stuck in the VLS Lux? That’s my main concern if I went with that one.

This video should be the standard of bag reviews! Every angle, pocket and thought went into the comparison. This is a true players review of a bags!!!The comparisons between the two are top notch and pushed me in the right direction that’s perfect for me and my game!
I gotta ask, I travel quite a bit…any thoughts on their travel line? From bags to accessories? If their bags are this standard of quality I can’t wait to see the travel gear they offer.

Is a gray or black vessel bag?

I wish that level of info would have been available on Vessels website cuz this is exactly the struggle I went through w choosing between the Vessel III and the Lux.
I decided to go w the Lux because my home course is mainly a walking course w caddies and the extra bulk and weight of the III was not feasible and I try to make a caddies job easier. I also don’t need 2 bottle holders (in fact, don’t even need one! 😆), nor do I need to keep a jacket or a bunch of stuff in the pockets.
For me, the Vessel III felt more like a cart bag posing as a stand bag whereas the Lux was truly a walking bag.
Player 3 has those waterproof zippers and the lux does not correct?
Hi there – great review! I'm interested in both but I ride more than I walk. I've heard a few things that the VLS is NOT meant for riding. Do you think it's unstable strapped into a cart? Additionally, I also read a lot of cart strap protectors being purchased to protect the material from abrasion. Any thoughts there?
