Golf SA launches COVID-19 relief fund for casual workers

Like all sports in South Africa, the golf industry has been hamstrung by the COVID-19 lockdown that came into effect on March 26. With more than 400 golf clubs in the country, the lockdown has left a massive number of casual workers in the industry, including club and greens staff, caddies and cleaners without an income. It was this that spurred Golf RSA into launching the Golf RSA Covid-19 Relief Fund.

SABC News reporter, Mnikelo Madala, spoke to Golf RSA CEO, Grant Hepburn, about these relief efforts.
