  1. HAVE YOU EVER BOUGHT REFURBISHED GOLF BALLS? 👀 FIRST 500 TO COMMENT ENTERED TO WIN 3 DOZEN Titleist Left Dash Pro V1x

  2. I HAVE bought them once or twice! But no longer…and I never buy refurbished chocolates! Thanks MGS for all the great content!

  3. Imagine waiting two or four weeks to play a round on a perfect day and using wack refurbished golf balls. Life is too short, y'all. Go play your best. Or play your personal best.

  4. I buy pro v! All the time (refurbished), simply because I cant afford new balls, I’m 77 and play bogey golf and I definitely prefer pro V1 over “softer balls” for seniors

  5. Used to frequent lost golf balls often, but only buy new now. Big fan of the Volvik S3 and S4, though they never appear in any tests.

  6. after 3 dozen shots someone would be buying those giveaway balls as a reloaded Pro V1 if i won haha

  7. You can buy Chrome Soft, TP5 and TP5X practice balls for $29.99 for reputable places. Brand new and USGA conforming. They just have a color blemish.

  8. Never! I’ve played a few that I found in the woods… Did not like them. Plus you never know what actual ball is under that paint

  9. I bought refurbished ProV1's about 2 years ago and I could definitely tell a difference as stated in this video. Thanks for this video MGS as I will never buy refurbished golf balls again.

  10. Love the piece on these balls! Question, have you ever ran a test on "practice" balls? How do they compare to? Titleist Tour Practice, Taylormade Tour Response "Practice" for example.

  11. My buddy bought 3 dozen refurbished Pro Vs mint condition. We went out to our club at 7:30 in the evening found a hole with no one around and started hitting these down a wide fairway. The results would've made Phil Niekro and Hoyt Wilhelm jealous!!

  12. Refurbished balls are such a scam. There’s no way those companies have the same quality standards as the big brands. Wouldn’t touch em with a 15 foot retriever.

  13. Never bought refurbished. I find plenty of premium balls in the woods in near mint condition at my local municipal course. Thanks all you fellow weekend warriors playing pro v1s, tp5s and chrome softs.

  14. I love the chocolates box comparison. I can't afford high-priced balls but also know they don't suit my game. I have always had doubts about reloads, but now I know for sure. Thanks. BTW I can't believe it is even legal for a company to do this.

  15. Refurbished golf balls are very popular here in Spain. However, as always, it can be put down to a lack of information and knowledge. A lot of people need to know more about the DTC companies if a limited budget is a concern. Personally, I play Snell blacks and couldn't be happier.

  16. In over 20 years of golfing I've never purchased refurbished golf balls. My Dad used to love them. I would rather buy a cheaper new ball like a Callaway Super Soft than a refurbished Titleist.

  17. I bought them when I was first starting out while thinking I'm saving a boatload getting fancy balls at a significant discount. I definitely know better, but at the time it worked out because I still shanked them OB or into water.

  18. I will always buy new. I have the advantage of low in play losses and income to cover. $5 every other round. So what.

That said, as a kid, I played with the second cheapest balls I could find wilson k28+ from big G discount store. I played with balls I scrounge in the woods. For the beginner, cheap makes sense.

Kirklands Vice etc are probably better choices than refurbs.

  19. I bought refurbished Titleist AVX. They performed spotty. Some were good, some were horrible. Or it was my swing
