  1. Great tip!
Currently actually working on this, and at first i started shanking absolutly everything.

Not i still get some shanks here and there, but when i hit it good, i just feels perfect.

Why is it, that i tend to shank it when doing this?

  2. Something I've been trying to work at is shaft lean at address compared to impact. I generally had a tendency to have little shaft lean at address which I think started me down the flippy route early on. When I understood more about the need to shaft lean I quickly realised it was leaving the face wide open at impact. To this day my hand still want to enter impact open, so I'm trying a few things to see what resonates with me the most- stronger grip, bowing the lead wrist more etc.

  3. Ive been working on this element as well. Do you place the ball more forward in the stance? In the video it appears to be ball forward

  4. Just teach…LAG, LAG, LAG, LAG, LAG, LAG…. then the hands will never get ahead of the club head—ever. In other words, LAG until it hurts. There now you know.

  5. Russell, I think way to much abut this game(yeah I'm retired🙄) but…
For many many years, I've been setting up like you instructed on this vid, the guys I play with always say I "de-loft" my irons on setup.
