  4. Just came across your content and already couldn't wait 4 this video to drop!! Standing up in my swing/follow-thru is a huge fault of mine (I think). Thanks!!

  5. I like the drill but I think the diagnosis is a bit of a chicken and egg conundrum. Does the standing up cause the steep shaft or does the steep shaft cause the standing up? Once you get the steep shaft you have to stand up otherwise you will hit the ground before the ball and dig a trench. Once you stand up you need the steep shaft or you will make an air swing.

  6. I believe the chair drill is a great visual and immediate feedback drill. My question is about the lateral move. Should it begin simultaneously with lifting and pushing back the left hip or before or after? Thanks for the many great tips!

  7. Another good drill that I use is the ball against the wall drill. Have a ball you push against the wall with your rear and try to rotate shoulder and hips without it dropping. I feel it serves the same purpose as the chair drill but easier to do in my home gym.
