    Gauff is a known fighter on the court. You could clearly see that she was uncomfortable on her feet after going down. That was a mature decision she made to retire. Self care first!!!

    If/when Coco seriously retools that dicey forehand she will be collecting any major titles she wants. She has all the ingredients of a major champ: superb athleticism, relentless grit, excellent forward/net game, gorgeous backhand, versatile serve, intensity, killer instincts. But that forehand is a mystery. The “hitch” in her take-back is a big liability. The longer she waits to recalibrate it, the tougher it will be to make the change at all. Bad luck on the ankle—hope she is in healthy shape for the US Open. With a good draw, she can still work some wonders.

    Lmao so apparently coco has a bad attitude because she rolled her ankle and had to retire? She’s been on tour for over 3 years and this is only the second time she’s taken a medical timeout and the first she has retired. You losers are sick. Taking any chance you can to jump on a teenager
