  1. Hmmm (and aaarrgg)… you are using wrong words. You are not talking about right arm. Indeed you are talking about turn. Golf swing is not just a turn as almost every golf teacher teach with horrible results.
    It's a turn and a tilt.
The fault you are demostrating is solely turn. The right move should be instead tilt and then turn.
If you start the downswing with tilt (lower right side and extracting left side) your club will be in right path and you can turn through.
Here is one golfer just using his right arm: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Snk10iZytNE
He states he can hit 300yards like that..

  2. Great video , I know lately I’ve reverted back to swinging over the top and as a lefthanded golfer over using my dominant lefthand

  3. An interesting theory on taking the trail arm out of the downswing Alistair! I've been at this game a long time and I know at one time, I was told to let the trail hand "just go for a ride" in the downswing. I think this relates somewhat to what you are saying. In thinking about this, I'm sure that the trail hand, arm, and shoulder come into the equation at some point, possibly just prior to impact. This would be in a firming up rather than a control situation. A thoughtful analysis Alistair!
