Wow, now if they remain loyal we will be in great shape in the future!
Future looking bright!
Why do none of the media ever compare BK's recruiting rankings to the team'abysmal rank? LSU is 11-12 over the last 2 seasons. The new coach's pre-season poll just came out and LSU is not even in the top 25. Despite the catastrophe that this team has been, BK is recruiting at least 25 places ahead of its rank. Get 10 wins this season and "locking down the state" will be a given.
Now we need to get Derek Williams
Hold that tiger! 💜🐯🏈
Just get off the JD train Mat. He can run but with a wide receiver core like this? Do you believe that this guy can feed them the ball? He will only throw screens or just and try to run. He’s not that good to carry any team to a bowl game. He might be able to throw a pass in practice with no defenders but in the SEC; he will get broken in half.
That kid is well spoken
Unpopular opinion: Coaching and development is more important than recruiting. The media just focuses on recruiting because it grabs clicks. Don't get me wrong yes recruiting is important but if you can develop 2-4 star kids consistently then you can contend. Don't point to Bama because Saban does both recruit and develop and I absolutely hope BK can do the same and he's off to a great start, but if he's more of a coach/developer than a recruiter I'm ok with that if it produces wins. Look at Jimbo at A&M he's recruiting great but they aren't doing anything special on the field. Bottom line what happens on the field 11v11 is what matters. Geaux Tigers
Matt please don’t forget the St. Augustine pipeline. imo it’s a very important one !
