  1. I like the challenge, but I think next time, it should be hush up, don't share your thoughts on yardage or what club your hitting. The Cicada killers are interesting creatures, we have alot of them at our course, especially around bunkers, but they don't attack you, they just look scary. No internet vs no yardages, I can do without both,, for golf I have my rangefinder.

  2. Last year at Town of Wallkill one of the par 3 tee boxes (might have been 3rd hole) was absolutely littered with those cicada killers. Luckily I knew what they were, but my buddies were freaking out and didnt want to even play the hole.

  3. Gotta play on a Monday when we play in the mens league and they’re rolling at a 12 with tougher pin placement.

  4. Good match! Next time try a 9 hole no yardage match on a regular length course. Try to guess how far to hazards, fairway traps, etc

  5. I like this challenge a lot, maybe even something to pay while golfing solo. I would keep from peeking at the signs, though, since it seemed like you both began to correct your estimates at the end of the round after being short. Great challenge and video! (Sans the insects of doom)

  6. Great challenge. Try a short par 3 course with two wedges so you have to adjust distances with each club

  7. This is pretty much how I play every round. Only recently got a GPS watch for yardages. Not that I have much of any distance control lol

  8. You know , there some of us watching who grew up without internet or range finding technology…. life was much more simple then, but I enjoy the technologies of today as well.

  9. You soon realise how much we rely on GPS etc when you forget to take it to the course! Great vid as always fellas ⛳️🏌‍♂️👍👍

  10. If you guys are ever down by wildwood or cape may you have to play the cape may par 3 course, it’s in country club condition and the greens are phenomenal

  11. When you do this format again, let the person who has the honor decide if they want to tee-off first or second on each hole.

  12. If you need to play more courses like this for short game, come back to winding hills! I'll get you guys out there😎

  13. You children are so spoiled! Range finders, GPS, etc… I grew up using 100/150/200/250 markers and doing the math to find the distance. Later years they put yardages on the sprinkler heads. LOL! Guess you could say we were roughing it! Now go out on a regular course and do your guess work. LOL!
