Always wondered about bounce, what bounce do I need…..I just use what I like the look of, I know why we have bounce but never really seen any benefit, just complicates things IMO

Bounce is the enemy, game an 04L grind 60° and its my go to in and around the greens, only break out higher bounce for bunker shots

Feel like it’s hard though too, when I’m on a mat I know I hit more down on the ball then I do on regular grass. Know it’s not right, but maybe on a fitting I would get fit for mid to high bounce but maybe I really do need more of a high bounce wedge. Is there a way to see this on a soft surface?
