  1. Home run! Some of the best content I’ve ever seen you post. This is a video that will help more players than you know. Well done. 👍😉

  2. Just right as always. I was that outcome golfer. Since 1 year (may the 50 approach😂), I was fed up with ruining my rounds with those bad shots. And I decide to change that one day, which I just wanted to put the clubs back in the car and go home : that can’t and won’t be my initial thought of playing golf !!😂 Now, each shot, each hole. And no matter what I did on the last hole, just enjoying the playing hole, and never give up. And now, each round is good (even the bad days), and often the final score is better than expected !😉. Thanks for this video, prouving that i’m probably on the good way

  3. Found this video via the Golf Monthly Forum. As an older golfer it's just nice to see someone of a similar age giving advice. The content, although nothing radical, was explained simply and with clarity which resonated with me. Looking forward to the next two parts

  4. Great video! Very interested in the mental game. One point I have struggled with is having random thoughts enter my mind during a shot itself (during the swing) even though I have just stuck to the process throughout. When I get such thoughts I seem to slightly panic then during the shot (as this is all happening during the swing). I have tried to displace such thoughts by actively trying to think about the target when taking the swing but that is difficult to do in a very short space of time; swing only lasts less than 2 seconds. I have good control over thoughts before the swing or putt; its during the swing that is the issue. Any thoughts on this? Perhaps one should just accept you might get random negative thoughts during the swing..?

  5. Great video, been looking for this type of golf content for a while now, there is not enough taught about the mental aspect of the game which in my opinion when you get to a certain level has a bigger impact on how you play/score than the actual swing does. 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾

  6. Great video! Nothing hugely radical or groundbreaking, but really well explained. The specific examples were really good. 👍

  7. Watched these videos last night (been struggling with my mental golf game) and went out today to shoot 37 on the front 9 with an eagle. Thanks a ton for the great advice!

  8. Read the practice manual – the ultimate guide for golfer from Adam Young, really interesting about process vs outcome vs target, has change my mind and approach of golf…..
For exemple, before focus on the golf swing, hoping the correspondant outcome….and now focus target and forget the how, the body and subconscious know already how to make. Before 7 iron carry 150 y with process thinking, now 170y just by thinking and visualise the target…magical…and f..inv straight without thinking

  9. So relevant and important. I started off well today on my round, blew up on holes 6–10 because I was playing defensively, towards the end of the round I said "I'm just going to commit to doing what works so well on the range" and executed. Finished way stronger than I would have if I'd continued on with the "outcome" mindset. You can't play good golf with a poor mental game. Going to work on developing a routine that works for me to use permanently and implement this into my game 100%.

  10. Great video thank you! I am off 2 handicap and I know I can get to scratch but my mental game isn’t good enough. I care too much, get bad thoughts like don’t go right as per the start of your video. I don’t get mad, more frustration and care too much. I’ve been level par with 3 to go so many times and finished 3+. Can you recommend anyone I could see for this please? Based West Yorkshire. Cheers
