Bryson receives ruling, avoids going OB by inches at WGC-FedEx St. Jude

In the final round of the 2021 World Golf Championships-FedEx St. Jude Invitational, Bryson DeChambeau receives a ruling on his golf ball at the par-4 6th hole from PGA TOUR rules official Ken Tackett. After hitting his tee shot wayward right, the ball came to rest next to an out-of-bounds fence line, but was deemed to still be in play, as a sliver of the golf ball still remained in bounds. DeChambeau was able to take a drop and went on to make a bogey on the hole.

  1. Trees are 90% air my arse 🤣. I crushed one into a branch with a 4 hybrid the other day and my mate said it shot straight up about 100 yards above the tree and then came straight back down about 10 yards in front of me 🤣😂

  2. Bryson did his best whiny pants brat impression and melted down in spectacular fashion. The guy was leading starting the final round on Sunday. He would hit a bad shot and look at his club, trying to blame the club. I guess his putter design is wrong as well because he left putts short or simply missed.

  3. Not a fan of players not shouting 'four'! 😒

Edit: last second shouts do not count!

  4. All the hate yet this dude is #6 in the world, has 8 PGA tour victories at age 27 which is more victories than the majority of PGA tour players, and is a US Open champion. Let him do it his way

  5. I swear I could loop for Dechambeau after two minutes with his yardages and walking the holes quickly I’d do better than this guy

  6. Awesome! Next time my ball is halfway in the woods and I can't play it ill just drop it towards the fairway until I have proper footing. New rule i learned today!

  7. Alot of hate for Bryson but he is remaining the game. It won't happen overnight and will take years to perfect but he has a vision and is right on course to make history in the years to come.
