  1. Good Afternoon Cobe
If you want to win at Murfield you must do 3 things
    HIT FAIRWAY HIT GREEN &
    TAKE ADVANTAGE OF PAR5
IF YOU CAN DO THOSE 3 THINGS YOU WILL BE CHAMPION🏆 @ MURFIELD
    1. IS THIS COURSE A BALL STRIKER
    PARADISE?
    2. FEATURED GROUP
J.Y.KO N.KORDA M.LEE 7:38am who benefit from this group & who needs to do well out of the 3? I would say J.Y.KO Cause as i said from ur instrgram account she needs to find herself that made her beautiful & special & dominant in 2019 2020 & 2021. N.KORDA just needs to avoid making crucial mistake in the final 3 holes.
As for Minjee just keep being Minjee.
    3. POINTSBET ODDS
    L.KO +1000 N.KORDA +1100 M.LEE +1300
    H.J.KIM +1400 B.HENDER +1600
    LEXI +2000 G.HALL +2000 J.Y.KO +2000
WHAT IS UR RESPONSE TO MY 3 QUESTIONS?
I WILL WAIT TILL AFTER ROUND 2 FINISHED TO MAKE MY PICK.

  2. Hi, Cobe, I can see why you'd run with the Europeans. Hyo-joo has been playing well and is probably the safest T10 bet. Minjee has been a bit disappointing lately, but she's not afraid to chance her arm, and that may be what's needed to win this, although when to take the risks is the question. Good to see Patty T back last week, but I think this course might be tricky for her unless she attacks it. I think those who played links last week have an advantage and that the big 3 Americans are dropping themselves in the deep end here – I'd rate Brooke a better chance than Nelly or Lexi on this course, and Knight a better chance than any of them (she can win this). I think the winner will come from out of left field – 12 Japanese players going for gold in this one and some of them can hit the ball very straight and drop it right on the target, so I think the Japanese will be in it.

  3. Glad ur back ! Agree with St Andrews – it's quite an easy course when the wind ain't blowing. Too many reachable par 4s + par 5s as evident by the generous scoring at the men's Open. Good picks, I think Saigo will do well who finished 3rd at Evian, also like Boutier + H. Green. Agree w Hyo Joo she's been on fire lately. Alison Lee could surprise too who is in good form if she can avoid a disaster hole as she's prone too. Deep sleeper maybe Jung Min Hong solely for the odds being the only KLPGA export

  4. I'll throw my picks out there for everyone to laugh at: 1. Y. Nishimura (50/1). 2. C. Knight (70/1.) 3. C. Wannasaen (175/1). 4. Y. Saso (70/1). 5. H. Shibuno (325/1). 6. C. Boutier (30/1). I also put a few $$$ on Schubert (150/1) & Saigo (45/1).
A couple of kamikaze bombers in there, but they're the kind of players who can win on courses like this – Saso's 10 birdies in R4 last week probably got under a lot of people's radar.

  5. Nice preview Cobe, yes, see whos in it after 2 days, very hard to pick british opens before the off. TS, nice tip last week on Furue. She had fantastic irons and putting. She is very small and only drives 200 -220, so wont win on longer or wet courses. Feel sorry for Celine, very frustrating to be beaten by a 10 under. This week maybe Minjee will be back after finding the bounce of the ball on links at Scotland on the weekend, Lydia still playing well, Hall at home, Nordquist on links maybe, HJ Choi for T20 as per every week!!!, HooJoo in form and great irons, can sheThitikul play links?, real longshot Marina Alex to do a Mo Martin. Anyway, see whos in it after day 2. No extreme weather in forecast so should be good event.

  6. Yeah I guess the wind will be huge, I was going to check SG off the tee stats. New sort of course for the girls, I too was going look at few Euro players for value..still not sure tbh

  7. Yip, Lydia or Xi Yu Lin for my want to wins as usual…. now who??? Why not Brooke for another Major, did anybody pick her for the Amundi (Cobe???). Lexi's made 1.6 million without winning so she's due and with her length it will be short irons in to fast greens (might sink 10% of her putts). Furue or another relative newby to the LPGA might be a chance, I'm struggling to remember their names but by the end of this season should see the end of my ignorance about them (Thiticul is another).

  8. Good preview Cobe. Thanks for putting it together. I’m with you on Patty T. I have to confess I was close to abandoning her but the heart she showed in the emotional reaction to last weekend’s return to form indicates to me that 80/1 is too big for this major winner.
My main bet is Hye-Jin Choi, who was 28/1, and I’m sticking with Eun-Hee Ji at 70/1. She has been knocking on the door recently without really threatening to win, and form seems to breed confidence in golf as much if not more than any other sport. Other players I’m keeping an eye on are Ingee Chun, Lexi and of course my local girl Jess Baker. She is familiar with links courses having grown up just 100 miles down the coastline from Muirfield. Good luck to all here who are investing. Cheers.

  9. Never before have so many top players landed in bunkers so often, ha ha. But some great escape acts to avoid bogeys and double-bogeys, reflecting what great improvisers those players are. But you really have to hit straight and true and drop right on the target, or you're toasted!!! It's a great course; the course and conditions challenging in the extreme; looking forward to more of the same in R2; should be very large crowds there at the weekend if the weather cooperates. But from a betting point of view, that course is looking like a punters' graveyard for most of us.

  10. Round 1 leaderboard
    1 Hinako Shibuno -6 65🇯🇵
    2 Jessica Korda -5 66🇺🇸
    T3 Louise Duncan -4 💙 Scotland 67
    Gaby Lopez -4 💚💜 67 Mexico
    T5 I.G.Chun -3🇰🇷 68
    Maja Stark -3 68 💙💛 Sweden
Jodi Ewart Shadoff -3🇬🇧 68 England

    Celine Boutier -3🇫🇷 68
    T10 Inbee Park -2🇰🇷 69
    Miyu Yamashita -2🇯🇵 69
    Hye-Jin Choi -2🇰🇷 69
Based on the leaderboard the contenders after Hinako are off to a good start so i expect Round 2 to be diffcult tomorrow. Cobe what is ur comment on the leaderboard & my statement?

  11. Apologies for being so late to the party!! Been a touch busy.

I shan't go into great detail but I will say Muirfield is a wonderful course and has been set up just about perfectly.

After the cut mark I have my regulars of Thitikul, Nasa & Maguire. I also bet Choi, Duncan, Dryburgh and Na Rin An.

Should be a cracking day tomorrow and I think the 18th being an absolute bastard of a hole could make the 72nd very interesting. This one could certainly go down to the wire.

    Good luck everyone!!

Cobe my pick to win the AIG WOMEN OPEN IS I.PARK CAUSE SHE IS ONE OF THE BEST PUTTERS ON THE LPGA TOUR. In 2021 according to the Lpga Stats through KPMG Perfromance INSIGHTS. INBEE MAKES 64% OF HER PUTTS FROM 10-15 FEET. She is my pick to win Aig Women OPEN. If i was I.G.CHUN OR SAGSTORM OR BUHAI I AM VERY TERRIFIED. ANYONE WITHIN 5 HAS A CHANCE; THE PLAYERS BELOW -3 WILL HAVE TO GO LOW. COBE WHAT IS UR COMMENT? WHEN INBEE STARTS MAKING PUTTS SHE IS DANGEROUS.

  13. On paper Buhai looks home, although I recall earlier this year the wheels fell off badly when she looked likely to win in the final round. Shibuno and Chun are well-positioned. Sagstrom and Park looked a bit shaky near the end today. Outside those 5, the rest look to be too far back. I think Buhai, Shibuno and Chun will fight it out – Shibuno is very cool and may unnerve Buhai playing alongside her. I'm picking that by the 18th hole it will be between Chun and Shibuno.

  14. Round 3 leaderboard
    1. Ashleigh Buhai -14 💚💛
    T2 H.SHIBUNO -9🇯🇵
    I.G.CHUN -9🇰🇷
    T4 I.PARK -7 🇰🇷
    Madelene Sagstorm -7💛💙
    T6 Stephanie Kyriacou -5💚💛
    M.LEE -5💚💛🇰🇷
    Miyuu Yamashita -5🇯🇵
    T9 S.H.PARK -4🇰🇷
    B.HENDERSON -4💗
    Atthaya Thitikul -4
    Hyo Joo Kim -4🇰🇷
    Maja Stark -4💛💙
    Hye-Jin Choi -4🇰🇷
Cobe based on the leaderboard Buhai played really good so did Hinako. Inbee had a up & down day. In gee up & down day. The biggest threat to Buhai r Shibuno & Chun.
I.G.CHUN & INBEE R PAIRED TOMORROW BEFORE THE LAST PAIRING OF SHIBUNO & BUHAI. WHAT IS UR COMMENT COBE ON MY STATEMENT & TOMORROW PAIRINGS?

  15. @T.SNOWDON I WILL GO HINAKO SHIBUNO CAUSE OF HER EXPERIENCE. IF SHE DOES NOT WIN IT IS OK. SHE IS STILL A LEGEND IN 🇯🇵. IF I.G.CHUN WINS SHE WILL BECOME A GRAND SLAM WINNER.

  16. It wasn't pretty, but she got the job done, although she'll probably be on tranquilizers for the rest of her life – well done!!!

  17. @COBE LIFE. CONGRATS TO A.BUHAI ON 1ST MAJOR🏆 FOR SOUTH AFRICA.
I.G.CHUN THE QUEEN OF FLYING DUMBO FOUGHT LIKE A CHAMPION. HINAKO THE SMILING CINDERELLA HAD A GOOD FINISH DESPITE UP & DOWN.
MINJEE & LEONA HAD GREAT FINISH INSIDE THE TOP 5. LYDIA CELINE MADELINE ATTHAYA BROOKE & STEPHANIE HAD GOOD FINISH IN THE TOP 10. COBE WHAT IS UR COMMENT?
