First staged in 1986, the Women’s Scottish Open is played with a full 156-strong player field. The event underlines Scotland’s commitment to growing women’s golf.
In 2021, the Trust Golf Women’s Scottish Open was played at Dumbarnie Links and was won by the USA’s Ryann O’Toole, in what was her 228th event and 11th season on Tour, won the first title of her career.
Previous winners include Stacy Lewis, Ariya Jutanugarn, Mi Jung Hur, Mi Hyang Lee, Isabelle Boineau, Rebecca Artis, Trish Johnson as well as Scotland’s Carly Booth and Catriona Matthew who is a double winner.
