We put the 2022 EPON AF-306 to the test. Ian gives his thoughts on Epons newest iron.
Epon advertises the new clubs as a thinner topline, reduced offset and thinner sole creating the look, feel and turf interaction demanded by the better ball striker.
With strategic weight distribution throughout the heads shape and the use of tungsten metal. Epon claims this delivers the highest MOI and CG depth of any prior 3 SERIES model providing for ample forgiveness in a player’s iron.

I know what I’m asking won’t speak to the masses. Would compare the premium irons? I currently game miura 301. I would love to know how they stack up against proto, edel, and epon. Thanks in advance

Great to see some Japanese irons on this channel. Definitely need some more love. I game Bridgestone J15 cbs. I think they are some of the best irons still to this day
Nice little video. Given all the marketing hype in golf equipment, it's fun when you come across a product that speaks for itself. Lots of pressure for Japanese manufacturers to overlay North American marketing on top of their products so would be interesting to see a video where you try Japanese irons side by side and see how the hyped up versions compare to those who let their products to the talking.
I play 921 Tour irons ….. how much better in your opinion feel wise are the Epon’s?
