The great aspect of golf is the world golf handicap system… it means that all golfers can compete against each other and have exciting golf matches, even golf matches and generally compete against each other. from low handicap golfers, mid handicap golfers, high handicap golfers, beginner golfers and even experienced tour pro golfers… we can all play good golf… but how is this golfer a 10 handicap? last time we played he played off 7 and had a close game… today he plays off 10… can he beat me? let’s find out…. and let’s do it now!

Four of us had an East Coast mini-break based at Bridlington Belvedere last month. We played Flamborough Head on the second day, in a fresh breeze, and with the same pins you played. I drove a yard short of the fairway bunkers we hadn't realised were there, and hit a 7 iron which the wind blew onto the apron at the extreme right of the green. 4 putts later and I'd carded a double bogey 6. I honestly can't remember ever 4 putting in the 50 years I've played. That Dr. MacKenzie has a lot to answer for 🤬

What’s the deal with people who tell me they are a certain handicap like a 17 or a 15 or 20 or 25 and they hit it out constantly and retake shots sometimes 3 times over, not counting strokes, just bullshitters man. All you fuckers out here are absolute bullshitters. If you won’t put down anything over a double or a triple down you are a fuckin bullshitter. That’s the one thing I hate about golf is that so many people can lie about their scores just lie all day. There’s no reason to play at all if you are gonna lie and cheat your score like what’s the reason to waste your money

To be a 10 handicap golfer, you dont have to be very good, all things being equal. You just need 40% of your rounds to be around 10 over the course rating, which is very achievable for a lot of people.

My handicap is 18.8 ATM. For the last 4 or 5 rounds you would think I was 58.8…so no, definitely not better.
