How to STOP the Over the Top golf swing

In this video, I talk about how to stop coming over the top and hitting pulls and slices. It’s a simple drill, and all you require is a club and three golf balls. Following this drill will not only help you hit the ball from the inside but also enable you to hit a soft draw shot. Practice it as often as possible, and remember to film yourself from the side to check that you are doing it correctly.

  1. Excellent explanation and demonstration Julian on what constitutes a "over the top" swing. In addition to the shoulders being the culprit in this scenario, I have also found that if my right elbow leaves my side, this doesn't help matters either. Your fix point was also well explained and demonstrated!
