I like simple and il try your tips on foot and open thanks
Are you doing the same thing if the flag is only 10 feet away? Or are you opening the face more for a closer bunker shot?
do we use a sand wedge for this shot, or pitching wedge ?
The sand at our course is so inconsistent I came up with something very similar to this just to get it out and on the green somewhere.
What can you recommend (or do you have a video) for wet, compacted sand? I’m really good at getting out of bunkers with nice, normal sand. But some of the courses I play don’t even have real sand, just dirt. And most times it has the feel of hard pan, but there is still some “give” to the surface. I usually wind up blading the ball on a rocket trajectory. Wondering if it would just be better to chip these out?
