Titleist Pro V1 Left Dot vs Titleist Pro V1 | Titleist Golf Ball Comparison

The Titleist Pro V1 is perhaps the most popular golf ball available, offering superb performance for a wide range of golfers. The little-known Pro V1 Left Dot golf ball is a limited release edition designed to deliver lower long-game spin than Pro V1, with similar short game control and feel.

Tony Finau recently captured the 2022 3M Open while playing the Titleist Pro V1 Left Dot.

In this video, 2nd Swing master fitters Thomas Campbell and Danny Ferrell test the Titleist Pro V1 and Titleist Pro V1 Left Dot in a Trackman test.

  1. I've tried every ball out there. I keep coming back to ProV1X. As a low launch low spin player I haven't found anything that launches higher and spins more than V1X. I've hit several that feel better especially off the putter but the performance outweighs the feel.

  2. Nice. Is there any ball you've came across (or tested) that actually provides significantly lower driver spin? Left dash etc?

  3. Simply put…Just as it is with clubs, cars, clothes, or anything…The best ball for you is the one that is the most appealing to you. Honestly… I’d buy thee Titleist DT Solo if they still made it but I played my best round with a Titleist AVX so I think that’s the best ball for me.

  4. I like ProV1 feel but the x is much better for me with higher launch and spin. I’m a pretty low spin player at times. The new x is for sure softer than last generation though.
