These CHEAP GOLF CLUBS are RIDICULOUSLY FORGIVING!

I took the PXG 0211 DC irons on course. At only $79 per iron, they just might be the perfect cheap golf clubs.

  1. Hi there, I've been playing golf for just over 2 years and have managed to get my handicap down from 25 to 20 and I enjoyed your video but your swing is all wrong. What you need to do is make sure your arms and body are at 45 degrees at address and add 2 degrees of angle to every 15 cm of your backswing and then deduct 3 degrees cm for every 20 cm until impact. That should help. Also give the club head a little twizzle if the ball goes where it should go. If this doesn't work for you and your shots are still going all over the place, then you're probably doing something else completely wrong. Good luck and keep practicing, you'll get there one day. Best wishes, Johnny Muscles

  2. I've been playing Wishon single-length irons for 6 years now. First the Sterling and now the EQ1-NX. There are only 3 good choices in single-length–Wishon, Edel, and Cobra. If PXG came out with one, I'd pay attention. (Same with Ping or TM, for that matter.) Until then, this is just a curiosity for me.

  3. I’ve been playing the 0211DC irons (5i-W) since February. I love the feel and consistency. I went with 1/2” long, 2° upright, and 2° weak. After 4 or 5 rounds I felt something was off so I went back to PXG for a spec check and, sure enough, some of the lofts and lie angles were off. My fitter adjusted everything to exactly how I ordered them. I still had some gapping issues and after another 4 rounds, I went back in again to have some lofts adjusted. I am now dialed in with my iron gapping and here’s where I ended up: W 43°, 9i 38°, 8i 34°, 7i 30°, 6i 26°, 5i 23°. I also have a 22° Gen4 hybrid set at 23° and a 17° Gen4 hybrid set at 18°. For wedges I use the 0311 forged… 50° bent to 49° and a 56°. At the top end is my 0811 Gen4 10° driver set at 12.5°. I am thoroughly happy with my bag and my scores have been improving.

  4. I got mine earlier this year.
Been playing with them for approximately 4 months and really enjoy them.
As a side note, PXG is a great company and has great customer service.
My 9 & 6 iron's both had the back plate coming off.
Contacted PXG and they sent me out new clubs and label to return the others.
Oh, also to answer your grip question, I have mid-size grips with 2 extra layers of tape.

  5. I've been using these all season. $100 club in Canada and that's nearly half price than the other major companies. I've loves them

  6. i disagree with distance. Easily the longest ive hit. i hit a 9 iron 150 and the 7 iron i hit 180. U cant beat the price.

  7. im more interested in that cool golf cart following u around..do a preview on that..the thing was on auto pilot

  8. If a set of clubs gets you that excited i wouldn't want to see you on your wedding night. lol PXG always comes across as over hyped like Honma etc.

  9. For me, I'm not concerned with distance, I am concerned with being on target. So if the miss-hits keep me on target then that's what I want.

  10. Love the reviews! I live in Carrollwood as well, love that course! My question is these clubs or the D9 from Wilson?

  11. Just curious if your playing the Vero X2 yet?
I was looking at PXG irons but got a great deal on a set of Stealth irons from a TaylorMade employee. It was a nice upgrade from my Ping G2 irons I bought new in 2003.
Have you tried/tested any of the PXG putters? Not sure if they are good or not. Don't see many people using them.
    Nice review as always.

  12. Gabe, so between the Stealth irons and PXG 211's which would you say would be the better fit to improve our ball striking?

  13. It’s weird how they keep raising the price on these by $1 . They were originally 77$ last year

  14. Thanks Gabe. Finally you fulfill my request. Really appreciate it. This 0211DC work very well. All my PXG setup with regular shaft.
Driver : Project X Riptide Even Flow 50g Regular
3 Wood : Project X Riptide Even Flow 60g Regular
Iron 5-GW: True Temper Elevate 95g Regular

  15. its interesting to see you going with the mp 95g elevates. i had them in my past setup, went to a shaft fitting and they said even though it said "stiff" its super soft and almost a regular flex compared to other shafts.
the fitter said i should go with the nippon modus 120 stiff and that has changed my game immensely.
great video non the less. keep up the great work

  16. These are so much better than most package set clubs, for around the same price. You could be out the door for 800 if you add their driver and putter..

  17. In April 2022 I bought these clubs 5i-GW, stock steel shafts, standard lie and length, midsize grips. I love them! Feel, distance, and value are wonderful! Also got the 4 hybrid.

  18. Gabe, I use a medium with 4 wraps. Not huge hands but like the feel. Regarding these irons, if you are used to more offset these will encourage a right "push".

  19. I love the little robot that follows you with your bag it’s like having your own r2d2
