Comparing the 2 Piece Taylormade Soft golf ball with the 3 Piece Bridgestone Tour B RX golf ball. Is the jump in price to a 3 piece golf ball worth it for a mid handicap golfer such as myself or is it better to just go with a cheaper ball? Balls are compared on the range and then on the virtual course using Skytrak and E6 connect.

  1. This is actually a decent comparison, considering the small sample size. As you mentioned, much of this will come down to actual feel on the course. I’m pretty much brand agnostic although I do tend towards three piece balls overall.

  2. Nice video! I was surprised how close both balls performed. I would have thought the three piece ball would be more spinny

  3. Have you thought about doing this test with other balls like Volvik, Pro V’s, Kirkland etc? It would be interesting to see the results. Nice job on this one.

  4. I have actually wondered if there is any difference between balls when using my Skytrak. I have a big bucket of balls that I don’t use on the course but work great in the simulator. Thanks for the video research. I gotta pick me up some of those rocket balls. You need an affiliate link 🙂

  5. Here's the question, why buy expensive golf balls if the performance is "virtually" better with the cheaper one?
