  1. Peter, thanks for the video. You explain how wide to set the stance by placing the club vertically, with one end inside your right foot and the other outside your right hip. Is this the width that is optimum for hitting the driver and for the other clubs it would be narrower? For instance, would you narrow your stance some amount as you go down from a 3-iron, to a 6-iron, to a pw, etc? Also, what kind of shots would call for the narrowest stance, a chip shot, or pitch?

  2. I am new to golf and have watched just about every instructional video on yt. Yours are the most clear and straight forward. Can't wait to try your lessons tomorrow.

  3. Great demonstration. No wonder Moe Norman was such a straight hitter. I'm a narrow stance golfer but I will start experimenting with a wider stance. Ty!

  4. So how is it that I hit my shorter clubs with a 6in width stance even on a long backswing perfectly every time.Distance 80 to 100 yards. As with so much golf instruction there are errors inconsistencies and contradictions. Some of your videos offer very good advice.I don’t think this is one of them. Also many golfers hit shots with feet together and hit perfect shots. One instructor on YouTube recommends a stance width of 12/13 inches between heels with driver. He hits the ball 300 yards.
