All I hear are excuses. It was a reach back then, and it still is a reach to pick DJ 6th overall. He is a backup QB at best. Herbert went through how many changes? Burroughs has a swiss chees O-Line for how long. Good to great QBs rise to the ocassion, and make the players around them better. DJ has shown none of those qualities. Thank god he is gone after the season. We are back in the wilderness and will be until we get the QB right. Remember how long it was between Simms and Manning. This is no different. Like last season there are too many "ifs". We will continue to rebuild until the QB selection is correctly made.
