TaylorMade claims these new cast irons feel like forged clubs. Can it be that these beginner clubs feel just as good as more advanced irons? I’ll take them out on course to test it.

I have been fitted for these clubs, just need the money to buy them. Shaft length was a key to effecting my swing. Even hitting off centre they played well. A lovely set of irons. Being British playing in the rain is the norm. We are having a heatwave at the moment, so we are getting a taste of Florida.

Hollow bodied irons have great feel. My new forged tech are the softest feeling clubs I've ever used in 40 years and I've used a lot of forged stuff.

“Long for a 9 (or whatever) iron”! Of course, if the lofts are equivalent to some 7 irons. Time to report irons in terms of loft not number ( but of course the manufacturer won’t want that because they lose marketing ‘blah’!).

Really LOVE the look of the STEALTH irons, but Im still getting used to my SIM2's, which I ABSOLUTELY LOVE, fitted last year so I moved up from a set of 2008 TOUR BURNERS.
Great pricing from TaylorMade on the Stealth Irons going after Ping G425 buyers, priced around the £700 mark over here for 4-PW.
You definitely don't need a 3 iron with that 4 being 18 deg!
You got to subtract one club…..
If there is no lightning, you finish.
I do love my sim2s but I do think they lack some feel.

My 4iron is 24°

After watching your “what’s in the bag” video and you saying you play sim 2’s, it’s making me lean towards the stealth irons over p790’s. Especially since they’re 200+ cheaper.
I went to have a fitting for irons with a view to buying the Mizuno jpx 921 hot metal, I really, really wanted them. However the fitter got me to try several other options. The stats showed what was best for me and I walked out with an order for the TM Stealth irons. I really, really like them, they're probably the biggest thing holding my game together right now, I made the right choice 👍🏼
I can’t understand a 2.5-3* gap in the long end and a 6* gap at the scoring end. That doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.

Game the Sim2OS as I liked the stronger lofts for my game. Had to squeek my order in as I knew these were replacing the sim2 line. In terms of head size and lofts they are kind of in between the sim2 and sim2OS. Its a pity they are more expensive.
Also ordered that shotscope pro lx+ and I love it. I just wish the thing had a magnet like the bushnell does so I can stick it to the golf cart rail. That little gps unit though? Sits PERFECTLY on the rail and gives me instant rough front mid back ranges, which lets face it… at my skill level is about all I need. Do love the scope though. Also I did order it through playbetter. Had an issue with the order and they did fix it SUPER quick.

Hi I did say I would let you know how club fitting went well I now know I need regular steel shafts half inch shorter standard lie and loft tried sim 2 irons not good in the end I bought callaway apex 4/sandwedge only hit 7 iron 150 but 14 out of 15 hits solid middled and 1 towards the toe but very accurate obviously outside will be different to simulation but have high hopes will update you in 6wks 🤞👍
Control is key they seem longer than your Sim 2 but shaft and set up in b important because keeping them straight = more birdie chances .
28 degree 7 iron? Sounds like a recipe for flyers.
