Man if they could get their drivers fws and hybrids to sound like Titleist and keep the performance of the G425 there'd be no reason for anyone to make new clubs anymore. The G425 performance is that good. That sound though eesh.

PING is just different, people complain about the sound all the time but I could care less as long as they make great clubs and perform.

I wish you guys would have asked about the elephant in the room. Ping performs without question but some won't play it due to the auditory characteristics…is there any push to make the "feel" as good as the performance? The other thing I wish you would have asked is what are they doing about marketing to relate to golfers as to how good the performance is, rather than in retrospect (i.e. a 2 year old driver is still the Most Wanted). Lastly, is there any push at Ping for carbon faces? I know he is an engineer but he is also a VP so should have some knowledge of the inner workings of other departments.

I think Ping does a good job with their Alta CB shafts and they feel pretty good with their clubs.

Carlos ortiz and matt have said that the reason they use s55 is the metal is different and the flight windows are different than anything anyobe offers. Can we dig deeper on that
