Starting The Downswing

For players who slice the golf ball generally there is way too much pressure moving straight back to their lead heel early in the downswing. If you struggle to create room at impact you need to feel the opposite and get more pressure moving into the ball of your lead foot through the initial stages of the downswing.

  1. There's something that confuses me when "All" teaching pros demonstrate this. When they shift towards the target the head moves with the shift (down towards the left foot) Yet when you see a pro swing their head stays centred but drops a little. How can you shift weight left but keep your mass still?
