My coach used to teach me a similar lesson. Whenever I swayed my swing was ruined. It's a subconscious way of trying to load up on your right and get more power, usually resulting in bad timing and powering it with your upper body/chunky or thin.
I could really use this guy as a coach… no disrespect to others i just hate long winded in depth shit i dont care about. Show me a motion to build muscle memory of whats right-ish and let me gwt after it. Good shit man.
This helped so much actually! I’ve been on the brink of hitting consistent full shots, and have been trying to simplify my swing with less/correct movement. This was great 👍 do it right before you swing & you’ll already feel that motion

That is a great little nugget. The first thing that starts happening in my bad swing is I fall out of position. Just stay! 🙂

My normal irons distance is 7 iron maybe 135-140 because I hit the big ball first
Stare at the front of the ball lift your chin
