    I love how urlacher mentions Artesia, and unless you are from NM, you won't understand how difficult it is to beat Artesia!!!! I played at NMSU the year he got drafted, and UNM was a shrine to him. He lives in Ahwatukee now, I saw him a couple of times at the Nike store when I was working there, nice ass dude!!

    Man this is a great episode. I never played football after peewee but I could sit and listen to 2 boys talk ball for hours.

    AJ Hawk said he never wore a mouthpiece either. He said one of his back teeth broke into pieces during a play. He also said he never had a concussion while in the NFL and I believe him. AJ is just built different, that Ohio mindset is different.

    Met Brian Urlacher on a plane once back in the day. Super nice and friendly guy. Weirdly enough he doesn’t fly first class (or else I wouldn’t have met him lol) he flies bulkhead for the extra room he said.

    Now, not to be the negative Nancy of the comment section, but I would like to point out that we didn’t have a moment of silence for the #1 sports podcast of the world for the week of June 27th. It is well earned, deserved and expected. Maybe next pod we run it back and commemorate this great achievement with a moment of silence for bussin with the boys. Carry on!
