  1. 5 wood or 19 degree hybrid.?Personally Hybrid is so versatile. Both off the tee and fairway.Struggle with 5 wood.

  2. I stuck a callaway 17 degree UW in my bag in March and its such a good club to hit both of the tee and off the deck

  3. I bought last years model in 21 and 24 degree to replace my 4 and 5 irons that due to advancing age I was struggling to get a acceptable ball flight. They have made a massive difference in my game. It feels good to be facing a 190 yard shot over a bunker and know I can strike a shot that will carry that far and still stop on the green.

  4. 'Modern' three-woods, that spin in the just sub-3000 range, are substantially longer than two-hybrids. Two-hybrids are really mid-flighted 230'ish carry clubs – that will roll out further depending on conditions. I find the bag construction choice is really between 5-wood and 2-hybrid or 2-iron. If you are willing to carry only two wedges, 52 and 58, then you can have space for both in your bag. I go back and forth between setups and would offer up the Mizuno CLK 2-hybrid or the Callaway Super Hybrid as two other alternatives.

  5. I had a Taylormade Burner 2 hybrid, that I tried for years to hit it consistently and just couldn’t do it. I finally tossed it out on the course and a guy found it and asked if we lost a club. I gave him the Headcover and drove away. I’m so thankful that it’s not in my bag anymore.

  6. Thats why i play the TM Sim 2 rescue. Dont hit a 2 iron well enough, but dont like the traditional hybrid shape

  7. I am using Wilson Launchpad Fybrid in 19 degrees. It’s also a mix of a hybrid an fairway wood. This looks very cool, too

  8. Strange thing: I noticed that Dustin Johnson replaced his rescues with fairway woods and now has a 3W, 7W and a 9W(!) in the bag. He said he is playing the 9W a lot instead of the 3 iron. Interesting…
