Handling Striped bass i agree there are fisherman or they think they are handle fish the wrong way. Hooked fish, i have seen fishermen try to remove the hook and the way they go about it is like tearing the fishes lip . I ask if the barb is bent so the hook comes out easier and they state no, i tell them it's a good practice to do so because your just killing the fish the way you are trying to remove the hook. What is your thought of broken barbs for faster release?
I need to get out with one of the guys in my area(Boston), haven’t been fishing in salt water for two years. It’s so dang expensive 😔
