  1. Liking these videos! Great to see everyday golfer’s faults and fixes. Great job explaining feels. I’m going to try and open up my face at setup. I set up face more closed than squared. Very helpful, thanks.

  2. This drill is so hard to do, I had/have the same issue. Swinging so far out to the right has made my hands so active, incorporating a passive release with more body rotation is a work in progress. This 50-50 drill is great on the range and on the course as a simple pre-shot trigger.

  3. Great and interesting video.
Questions: Can you tell about the dimensions of the simulator-room? (Hight / With / Depth) and position of Beamer?

  4. These live lessons are great, but just shows how hard, and how much dedication it takes to change something in one's golf swing.

  5. Wish I’d got that problem- too far under the plane! Serial over the topper for years but not so much these days after watching your excellent videos! Thanks Eric!

  6. You said if you exit left and it still goes left you aren’t doing it enough. Is there a scenario where you could do it correctly but still have the face shut and it go left?

  7. Hi Eric. Really interesting to preset face open to hit a draw. Makes sense!
I always setup square to target and get the same result where ball starts middle then curves left.
I assume it is a slightly open face otherwise run the risk that face to path will be + again? How much open comes down to trial and error

  8. One other thing I also noticed is his right thumb, and where it’s located on the shaft. I sometimes have an issue with this as it can assist in closing the club too much on the backswing. It just feels more comfortable, until you take it back. If the left hand has more control, which it should, that can help. Eric, have you ever had an issue with what do do with that darn right thumb? It just never seems to fit comfortable for me and I’ve tested everything in the line of grips and size adjustments. Thanks

  9. Great content! When practicing on swing change in between rehearsals how to create a right image in brain for feeling the desired movement ? I am not able to create a desired move in my brain.

  10. This is exactly what I’ve been working on. I feel like when I come over the top with a slightly open club face at setup I hit beautiful shots. I was just like him though. I rolled the club under the plane line.

  11. I’ve been working on these drills as well and I’ve found my shoulder plane really helps fix this – I feel the lead shoulder much more down in the backswing and transition

  12. I take the club back on plane but below on the way down. When you do that 10,000 times it's hard to stop. But for video I don't even know I'm doing it

  13. I had to fix this same exact issue, myself. I was swinging too “flat”, resulting in blocks and hooks, and also inconsistent iron strikes. Stepping a little closer to the ball helped me swing the club a little steeper. Absolute game changer. Great content.
