Corbin Burnes, Devin Williams, and Josh Hader are all flawless against St. Louis. Not only this year, but that trio of pitchers have had the Red Birds number for awhile. Cardinals have gotten ahold of everyone else throughout their pitching staff, but those three have really shut STL down.

I'm an Astros fan so I watch these guys on a daily basis. And from what I've seen, Jose Siri gets one home run then it takes him 48+ games to get another one. So let him pimp it. He ain't gonna see another for a while anyway.
Babe Ruth (by himself) out homered every single MLB team except the Phillies in 1920…. Babe Ruth the pitcher, pitched 1220 innings over 10 seasons with a 2.28 ERA and gave up only 10 HRs total… Ohtani's given up 30 HRs in only 250 innings pitched and he cant outhomer a teammate

Ohtani is my fav player, and I do think he’s a better baseball player, but Judge is def MVP. The second word in that is “valuable” and Judge has been more valuable to the Yankees winning games than Sho has been to the Angels.

As a die hard Blue Jays fan, I have issue with the "disappointment" narrative, the "OUR division take", and the "movie quote" taken WAY too far. How were we supposed to know the Yankees were gonna go on a historic 120 win pace? How were we supposed to know that Pete Walker wasn't gonna do his job and not figure out Berrios or Kikuchi, OR the bullpen? Guerrero has been having a good month, Kirk has been having an excellent year, and we ARE third place in the American League. This whole "movie" thing has been taken way too far by other fanbases as a way to knock us down a peg, but we are still 10 games over .500 with pitching that would be a non-option. Until we win less than 94 games, I'm not disappointed yet.
So, no "players-only-meeting", Jake. Not yet, anyway.

Jimmy will never admit that their people hate the Seattle Mariners, but Plouffe just called them dead in the middle of June. Nobody likes to stay informed on teams in the Pacific Northwest. Embarrassing. And Jimmy says “too little too late”. If it was the Yankees, Jimmy would talk about how there is so much time left in the season. You guys probably need to cure this nonsense since you’re on such a national level. Injuries have ravaged their offense (on top of Winkers bad luck) so there is some understanding to the struggles. Mariners have still had the best starting pitching in baseball over the past month.
As a life long Mariner’s fan, I think you guys talk about us probably more than we deserve. Until we’re legitimately good I’d rather hear you guys talk about good baseball teams. Julio is electric though. See him in person please

Besides a 10-15 game stretch where the Jays won 9-straight, they haven’t really clicked on both sides of the ball and I’m glad Jake called them out. At the start of the season it was all pitching and no hitting and now it’s all hitting and no pitching like it was last year. I would like to see my jays go after a starting pitcher at the trade deadline with Kikuchi being basically a guaranteed loss whenever he pitches and Berrios struggling to find it, but it will be tough with other big market teams like the dodgers in play.
