In this episode of Club Explorers, we are joined by Callaway Golf’s Sr. VP of R&D, Dr. Alan Hocknell, to discuss all things Rogue ST Drivers and Irons.
We will dive into who might benefit most from the new Rogue ST Driver heads and how the AI face technology differs in each model.
We even dive into the new Rogue ST iron line and discuss if you should start a club fitting by selecting the shaft first or the head first.

Nicks swing….Wow!
Boom still hitting it out there Nick 😎 it's a fantastic driver the rogue st max, been gaming it for a few months and has a serious combo of distance and forgiveness
Awesome video w Callaway. In November 2021 I was custom fit for my Small Batch Evenflow Riptide CB 6.0 into my 2016 M2. Prior to that in May 2021 I was custom fit with a Hzdrs Smoke Yellow 5.5 shaft. The riptide CB 6.0 gave me nearly 6 more yards carry, both gave me 1.48 average smash.
Not sure how much more I can improve with the Callaway rogue ST pro either Max or LS but I do need to compare them later this year or early next year. Ironically I tried the vintage blue and red Velocore shafts, neither one of them gave me spin below 3200 RPMs and high as 4000. It’s amazing how that a non-counterbalanced shaft would not work with that head must be how I load the shaft that I need a Counterbalanced shaft for it to perform for me.
The 2016 M2 driver Is the best driver I’ve ever played and Ive been playing nearly 30 years, forgiveness is off the charts feel/sound is terrific.
