This WILL change my golf game FOREVER!

This WILL change my golf game FOREVER! When playing golf there are certain life events that will change your golf game forever, such as getting married, having children, changing jobs etc. In this video I talk to you about the former.. Myself and Laura got married last week and I pose you all the same question… do you play golf in your wedding ring? can you play golf in your wedding ring? and should you play golf in your wedding ring? its something that so many golfers have mentioned to me since the big day… and I wondered what exactly you guys do. Let’s see exactly what I can score in my first round wearing a wedding band… lets do it… and let’s do it now!

  1. Ring is off no matter golf, gym or any sports I do. I simply don’t like the feeling of it and saves a lot of wear and tear

  2. I either wear a silicone ring or none while golfing. I just toss my ring in my cup holder in my vehicle and cover it. I can’t lose it and it is comfortable when I golf.

  3. I don't usually wear a glove, so my ring always seems to pinch after a few shots. Thus, I always take my ring off when playing or practicing (other than just putting).

  4. Not a stupid video at all….been thinking of popping the question soon and have been thinking of this very same problem come the day 😬

  5. I went with the silicone band and it is a huge plus between golf, fishing, and racing! It is actually safe and comfortable to wear.

  6. After a couple weeks you'll forget that the ring is even there. I keep mine on when golfing mostly because I've never thought about it and don't notice it getting in the way. A recommendation I have is to buy a cheaper (e.g. off amazon) one to use for travel or when you're doing something where you have a concern of losing the real one.

  7. i was asked the very same question my 1st round after getting married 3 years ago and it has never been an issue for me, Congrats!

  8. I generally take my ring off for golf, but that’s generally once a week at most and I have gotten blisters wearing it. Give it a few weeks and you probably won’t notice it.

  9. Congrats to you both. I take mine off personally but only when playing golf. I hate the feeling of it digging into my other fingers when I grip the club. Also as a cheepskate I worry about it ripping the grip!! 🙂 Also worried about losing it so I hook mine onto my keys and put in the dry pocket with my wallet.

  10. for the first 3 months it felt weird and I ended up playing without it, but now it feels weird when I don't have it on .

  11. I play golf with a wedding ring and it makes no difference to me. You get used to it. Don’t obsess over it or it will play other your head. Don’t take it off, Laura won’t like it.

  12. I play with my ring on all the time. My golf only slowed down when i had kids, now they are older i play a ton. The ring never bothered my swing or grip.

  13. Go silicone! Get a quality one that fits correctly. QALO is a quality brand I'd recommend. I only wear the real ring for special occasions now. In addition to golf I shoot skeet and sporting clays and I don't have to worry about the metal ring, ever!

  14. Tell your best man to show some respect for the course and put his on the way a gentleman wears one. Only because you showed such a nice picture from your wedding did I not give you a "thumbs down." Congrats on your wedding. I hope you have a lifetime of marital bliss

  15. When playing, you could wear the ring on a chain, around your neck, just like Frodo! 😁
