What a great match from both players. I really thought Coco would have a letdown after losing the French Open Final but, she's really playing well. I'm glad she's playing doubles as she is quite comfortable at the net.

Well………Coco has a super easy draw for this tournament like she did for the French Open. Her first 2 rounds here were against players ranked #66, then #76. The Quarterfinal match against Pliskova is deceiving. Pliskova has recovered from an injury and is only playing about 500 tennis. Both Pliskova and Gauff are rated higher than they should be, it's all about a flawed point system and unfair draws, handling byes…etc., within tournaments. Coco had a massive unfair advantage in the draw at the French Open. I predict Coco will lose to Jabeur. Who has had to face tougher opponents in this tournament.
Pliskova acted real lazy on some point that could have turn in her favour.
Great job, Coco! This is a big win against Karolina, a good player with lots of experience.
Really happy for Coco, but also quite disappointed in Pliskova's performance. I'm not 6-foot+, so I don't know what it's like to try to move with that body, but she appeared to give up on a lot of points, and a few of them were important points that might've changed the outcome of a game and set. That Pliskova hasn't yet won a slam is not surprising to me given her consistently inconsistent performance.
18 I thought she was 19 or 20….lol I forgot how young she started, I feel like shes one of the veterans lmao

Well done Coco! Aggressive first hit tennis wins the day. Playing doubles has certainly helped her tennis and given her the confidence to attack the net. Definitely my dark horse to reach the next GS final.

Brilliant playing from Coco. It's about time. I think reaching the finals of the French Open has given her a tremendous boost of confidence. This is the best I've seen her play for some time. After the French Open, she's lifted her game to another level. Sorry to see Pliskova go. She's one of my favourites, but this was a well deserved win for Coco. Keep it up, Coco!

Gauff is really becoming something
Coco is becoming a very likeable player, not come on-ing after every winner like she used to and her feel of the ball has gotten so much better. Plus the positive attitude overall and wanting to improve incessantly on her tennis IQ. She'll become a superstar if she can win Wimbledon.
It is safe to say that we’re witnessing a future multi-GS winner in the making. Well done Coco.

Coco wins this tournament because the winnings are given to her permanently!!! Players who are far better than her have to lose because she is black. And all top players from Rossiya and Belarus are not allowed to show a flag!! It pisses me off just because she's being politically abused for The US Empire and the crappy West.
