Yes because of the PGA’s ridiculous stance on the whole thing, they should grow up

So Sky Golf goes full tit mental: Paul McGinley signed off on The Saudi International because they did it through "the proper channels" meaning don't challenge the two main tours business but we'll sign off on your one off event and take some $$$ I notice Sky Golf didn't question McGinley on that in this piece. He didn't say a word about sports-washing or the Ryder Cup then. Kyle Porter works for CBS, a Tour broadcasting partner, he's not objective, he's a shill!!! The game of golf is not "at stake" it's simply changing the way it has many times before, for anyone who knows history the PGA Tour started over what…MONEY!!! Sky Golf will end up covering LIV as DP World Tour simply won't be able to compete…

This is sensationalist self interest by these commentators. I do wish everyone would calm down and look at the situation rationally. McGinley knocking the Saudi money ,when the European tour are the people who started staging tournaments with their sponsorship, is a bit rich. Sky , no doubt, feel obliged to support the PGA tour line for fear of losing their broadcast rights. It’s not the end of the world and may just give the golfing establishment a resounding kick up the backside. Maybe we’re all getting fed up of 72 hole, 4 day golf tournaments( because they suit the American TV schedules) and need a bit of variety ?
Don’t ban players and get over it. The monopoly is over. European football has been impregnated, embrace it and shut up or show that you’re serious about human rights by banning all middle eastern investors or not having golf tournaments, world cups etc. Or do we pick and choose.

It’s on,y the PGA who have made LIV the enemy. LIV appeared to want to work around the PGA tour. The European tour has always run alongside the PGA so why the problem now? They do not own golf or golfers and suddenly they do not hold all of the cards.
