Hard or Soft Golf Balls? What difference does it make?

  2. Good advice, don't be seduced by marketing, brand or price. See what you can find in the hedges and the rough or buy a selection and try them out on the practice area, putting green and course. When you find something you like then go with that and buy some, always works for me. Better to try before you buy and see what gives you the feel and how the ball stands up to scuffing and remember there are some less fashinable balls out there that are real gems that should not be overlooked.

  3. Putting feel is the key. I don't like too soft as I have a soft face insert on my putter and I like to feel the contact of the ball, but without it being loud or clicky.

    AD333/Kirkland/Chrome Soft are balls I've found the best of both worlds for performance/feel.
