Kyle Connor is well-deserving of the 🏆. Since he came up here in 2016/17 from the NCAA, he's never looked like a fish out of water. He seems like one of those elite guys that has bought fully into the team concept. The coaches ask him to do something…play his off position, or play up or down in the lineup, or kill penalties…he'll gladly do it for the sake of the team. And he's still offensively productive. Other than his continued defensive development being a work in progress…there aren't many negatives to #81's game.
Honestly Binner was the only reason us Blues had a chance in that series vs the Avs. Once he got hurt it was kind of over. But hey if the Oilers fans are able to say "hey at least we beat Calgary" then us Blues fans can say "Hey we were the only team so far to give the Avs a good run for their money and take 2 games off of them". Our series with them was also way more entertaining than seeing the Avs run over the Oilers in 4
Two things I learned today: 1. Remis is on "Team Touch It", and 2. In the offseason Connor snipes on Connor… Another great show! Keep up the great work!
With 32 teams now…being a member in good standing with 'Team Touch-IT' might become the norm. It could be decades before you can even get a sniff again. Like the Leafs. You could carry a chronic 0-3, 0-2 Cup record like Vancouver and Buffalo do. Or you may never even get there, period. Jets 1.0/Phoenix Coyotes, Jets 2.0. If you have a trophy of any kind in front of you, take it and enjoy it. You put a season of preparation, hard work and sacrifice in front of you and it paid off. That counts for something. Do it for everyone that helped make it happen. Even Penn & Teller's FU trophy is worthy!🪄
