  1. I was on the PGA's side but have changed my mind. The way the pga is acting to current players wanting to try the LIV league out, I'm on the players side. The pga is acting like a bully and threatening the players. The Open Championship is not a pga event even though the pga and R&A work together. I'm not a 100% on the liv league and do understand player's staying on the pga, but that doesn't give them (pga) the right to ban players that want to go to the liv league. The pga to me has become to big with non-player's running the show. There's to much money in the commissioner's pocket and others. To me the pga is acting just like government's, not enough bang for your bucks. Have a good day all.

  2. The more good players that leave the PGA to go to the LIV, the better Tiger's chances of winning another major on the PGA tour.

  3. I enjoyed watching LIV. I also enjoy watching all the tours. As far as Tiger and loyalty, ask his wife.

  4. Most of the top players on the PGA Tour will join Liv Golf. The PGA Tour will end up a second rate tour and lose backers and money. The PGA needs to relax the rules and allow players to freely choose where they play or suffer the consequences. Tiger needs the PGA Tour for his legacy, time will tell if the PGA Tour keeps it's standing in the game or not.

  5. Who cares. Multi-Millionaires bartering over money and prestige.
Joe Shmoe can’t fill his car and drive to the course any more.

  6. Well done ( video) . This was the best, non-biased presentation I've seen yet on this situation. I still believe the banned players have a good case against the PGA for restriction of trade.

  7. Those, including Greg Norman, who categorize the murder of a journalist as “a mistake” are clearly putting money over conscience. Phil was right the first time. The Saudis are scary. They do have a dismal record on human rights. But he ended up caving, thinking with his wallet rather than his head. Those who have joined LIV have just shown the world that they have a price for selling their morals, and the Saudis know that some people can be bought. Tiger can’t be bought. Jack Nicklaus can’t be bought. They have integrity. There is no amount of money that could get me into bed with the Saudis.

  8. The Sandrat golf league is desperate for respect and acceptance. They'll get neither but they can buy short term attendance

  9. LGBTQ said Greg Norman was perverting the very institue of golf………
Putin said LIV Golf was wanting to destroy the game…..
Pelosi and Schumer said PGA was trying to kill LIV in its infancy…….
FBI is investigating rumor of Greg Norman peeing in bushes on 9th green of the Masters tournament (Twenty years ago)…….
Bernie Sanders and AOC are saying the PGA is supressing the rights of somebody….somewhere…
And lastly BLM and Whoppi Goldberg says the whole damn thing is a white problem and recommends both to be disbanded……..

  10. Questions of loyalty and legacy are up to the individual player, as is making more money for doing the same job. I would say take the money or not, whatever. It's just business. Except, in this instance, who are you taking the money from? People who dismembered an American journalist. Murdered and butchered an innocent man. If you have any moral compass, you don't take money from such people. The disreputable Greg Norman, asked about this, the murder, said "we all make mistakes." Who with an ounce of decency would do business with such a piece of dung?

  11. Most if not all the players that have gone to live are has been anyway..so who cares…even DJ is past his use by date

  12. I’m done following professional golf. The arrogance oozing from the whole scene is despicable.

  14. tiger is still recoverying from chemical and sex addiction. But his recent high speed wreck that almost took his leg has now made him realize his career is basically over and LIV has no seniors tour yet.

  15. Tiger was right to decline, even for 9 figures (not a billion, but anything up to $999M). He's looking for 3 more PGA tour wins to equal Jack Nicklaus – nothing means more to him, and this is the mark of a great of the game and a true sportsmen! His wealth is the result of being at the top for many years and incidental – He is still a big draw. When a statement was put out, that he would appear in The Open – in it's 150th year, tickets for all days sold out literally in hours. Now they are being offered at £700. Nobody in the current game has that charisma or draw. I cried when he won his last Masters in 2019 (with my girlfriend who does not even like golf!). Tiger transcends the sport and is on par with sporting societal greats like Pele and Muhammed Ali. Tiger would be seen as cheap and sordid if he went to the LIV tour. Good on him for having that loyalty to the game of golf, and drive to still be the best in the game. After all he has been through, to still have the effect he does on the game is immense. 100% of ALL the players on the PGA tour will tell you that they worshipped Tiger growing up.

  16. If you knew about Tiger. You would already know he's NEVER been about the money. He was is and as long as he can be competitive. Will always be about the majors. That green jacket being number one on that list and Jack's record. At any rate no way he throws his legacy away for money.

  17. Rory has become the unofficial spokesman for the PGA tour on this, it seems, and he is doing a good job with insulting them all in a nice way. lol

  18. When one of the most insecure, yet powerful, little boys on the planet offers blood money to golfers to try to save his soul… and they accept it?!! I'm old enough to remember when golf was an honorable game. Yes, the PGA doesn't have a perfect track record, but where LIV is coming from is something else all together. If LIV was handing out money to poor people, like Pablo Escobar did, it would be bad enough. But to hand out money to other already rich golfers in order to save one's soul is beyond contemptible, for everyone involved.

  19. Don't like or trust Norman or the Saudi's. Lifetime golf fans like me will never support the LIV. Guys signing up are either in the twilight of their career or they are disliked by many of the PGA members. They are not rebels but outcasts. Good riddance.
