  1. With his game in a downward spiral, this new league gives DJ, Phil others a chance to be closer to the top of the heap again. It seems clear DJ isn't competitive with the new, young guns. It will be interesting to see if Taylormade sticks with him.

  2. why do we not hear about The Chinese inhuman treatment and civil rights violations (including death ) of Muslims in China? –

  3. Liv golf is the new face of golf. Not this snotty I’m better then you. Watch it’s going to be a rock show

  4. $75million over 14 months vs $150million just for signing.
    There's your answer folks

  5. Why is the backlash not the same for formula one, Newcastle United and every country that gets into bed with the saudis for their oil?

  6. The irony with all of this is the PGA are a breakaway league themselves. After monopolising the sport for so long, it doesn’t give them the inherent right to throw a tantrum once someone has come along & done the exact same thing they did.

  7. As potentially negative as the situation is, these are easily the most interesting words I've ever heard professional golfers say

  8. Yes I didnt like the fact that big players are going to LIV. But to accuse those the likes of Phil and DJ for joining the league for money and ignore Saudi's human rights record is hypocritical.

I dont see any player rejecting PGA after USA caused 2 million death in Middle East with 700k of them directly linked to Iraq and Afghan war, or Rampant gun shooting, or Guantanamo Bay, or Highest Incarcerated population in the world etc. etc.etc. I can go on and on.

Stay out of Politics, its sports. Dont be hypocritical, its disgusting

  9. The same thing happened in cricket with the ipl. Big names stopped playing test cricket and 50 over for the country's for the bigger purse indian premier league. At the time it was frowned upon by many, once the dust settled it created more opportunities for all. I think it's an exciting time for golf as a whole and support the Liv. I hope these 'out of their prime' golfers put on a good show.

  11. Competition is a good thing. I hope the PGA Tour smartens up and learns to leave peacefully with LIV and other competitors. The best thing for pro players is to have choices. Let the tours compete for the best players.

  12. Is money everything?what about pride??..and what if they can't compete in majors or Ryder cup events…and other historically important events…and all the world s best players are playing on pga tour….as a competitor and an athlete these guys have no spirit at all…
