  1. Why is a masters champion not giving a statement. If this was reed he would have been roasted.

  2. Fattrick reed probably was the snitch! But it’s not like he’s an honest player anyways.
    ¯_(ツ)_/¯

  3. If you are a man and not quite good enough to keep your card on the PGA or Korn Ferry tours, then please play on the LPGA tour and take all the winnings. The liberals on Golf channel will love you and you'll get rich.

  4. Why are players clubs not inspected before the start of such a big tournament? Why do players not know what club rules are? Even his caddie let it slide. The DQ penalty is too harsh. Why not just minus the amount of strokes the club was used for? Crazy

  5. What a load of crap how does this affect the performance of the club?

Look at other things the R&A and pga have allowed to happen ie size and shape of grips and heads that will do for a start this is bullshit

  6. The LIV tours going to have more prize money that the PGA !
That's unlucky for the PGA as top players leaving

  7. I don't mind repeating myself:
Another idiotic archaic rule that should be eliminated. Little respect for the players intelligence and zero respect for a Master's champion.
Dustin Johnson once got penalized for touching the sand outside the bunker, but Matsuyama gets disqualified?
No wonder PGA's loosing people to the LIV.
Explain to the patronized how some markings would make you a super ball-striker. What's the miracle science involved?
Players get also disqualified for practicing during play. Why in the world none are for taking practice swings anywheres from tee-to-green? It beats me!
One more thing. Mr. Matsuyama should wash his hand right after shaking hands with that universally known cheater Patrick Reed, just saying

  8. Interesting. However if the inside of the head is altered it’s ok? Equipment trailers are always tweaking and altering clubs. They’ll load the inside of the head with glue to change its performance among other things.

  9. The "damage was done". Idiotic. There was no damage, and the substance wasn't performance enhancing. This crap is such a bad look for golf.

  10. Some guy at home tweets it and causes the DQ…thanks social media! With that said, why are rules officials there if not to check in with each player and caddie to ensure everyone is compliant before their rounds? Players and fans are getting tired of these ticky tack rules that make watching less fun. What if that was Tiger's club?! The fans would be going crazy, sponsors and the networks would be losing it. Any wonder Dustin Johnson is going to play in the Saudi league…bunker/no bunker!

  11. プレー前に誰も松山英樹に忠告しなかったのか?
    そして、本人も違反になると思わなかったのか?

Did no one advise Hideki Matsuyama before playing?
And didn't he think it would be a violation?

  12. That is an extremely expensive lesson to learn. Does the crime deserve that punishment though? I say no. Why not penalize him a stroke when he used the club, instead of a total disqualification? I don't think the 2021 Master's champion was trying to get an edge on the field, he's at a level most people strive lifetimes to get to. The amount of sponsorship and prize money that cost him was probably around $150,000 minimum. I want to hear Hideki's side though, we've only heard the USGA's side so far. Plus, in America you have the right to face your accuser/s (in a court of law), so why the lack luster reporting from the accuser/s?
