  1. Maybe this is silly but I'm wondering why not take the C1 idea to a further space: golf greens don't have to be perfectly circular; instead, as we know, their designers vary the shape of the green and the texture of the surrounding surface to encourage different shots based on factors other than distance from pin. So: why not allow the course designer to designate a C1 for each hole based on the hole itself, rather than a number that feels vastly different on heavily wooded courses vs. wide open ones, to name just one of many contexts? I know this could get complicated, but I also have full faith that anyone who could design a course like the (amazing) one featured here has tackled far more– and might even find this to be a fun concept. Apologies if I'm missing something obvious here or being dumb. Thanks for the awesome content as always!

  2. 38:30 you see Colin walk off camera, then 20 sec later his mic picks up him… Well uh… What you do when you walk into the woods😂

  3. JOMEZ!!! "the whole is the greater than the sum of the parts". Please please please stop putting your channels on the shoulders of Jerm

  4. Literally have to mute the manchild when you cut to him walking solo pushing his stroller. Help us help you!!

  5. AAAAND NEVER Leave anything in your vehicle that you are not OK with them stealing! It's a cold hard lesson Jeremy.

  6. Big Jerm is my fav disc golf bonus content personality but if he promised to quit beatboxing i’d go founder’s club

  7. "first off they are jumping with their feet in the air before they release it, but nobody is gonna call it" – Big Jerm i agree take circle 1 out to 45 feet. a little over10 meters and people "legally (but really illegal) jump putting" is a joke.

  8. If jump putting is so easy from circle 2 then why don't you do it? This is the same argument someone had with me about rollers. They said that I was cheating because I was using backhand rollers to get 450+ distance shots, and I told him that if it's so easy then he should do rollers.

If you look at a list of the best circle 2 putters it's a mix of jumpers and non jumpers, so the evidence that is actually helps is slim at best.

  9. I don't believe that the DGPT should have a separate set of rules than the PDGA. I do agree that there needs to be some rule changes to address just how freaking good the professionals are becoming.

That being said, like the PGA.. amatures should be held to those same set of rules. Will scores go up? Yes. But in golf a "decent" am player shoots +10-20 over par.. it would just change… slightly… how the am's are scored.

Too confusing to have two sets of rules though.

  10. This may have been my fav practice round so far. Not as kooky as some, but really wholesome fun. Great to see bro chemistry, amazing course design by DK! Love it! Now, to watch the actual tourney!

  11. My favorite practice round in a while. Just the right mix of serious hole breakdown and playfulness. Overall, a great Chill vibe but having the course designer is a big plus.

  12. Love what Nate said about the putting/scoring comparison between golfing sports. Makes a ton of sense. I also agree on extending C1 putting. That would be much better from a viewer standpoint.
I hope this is what we can look forward to in the coming years for public courses. This place is beautiful, difficult, and fun😀
