This was a huge surprise
Good to see both of them get this far. Sloan however is unpredictable. She takes long breaks in her mind and basically uninspired. This good run will be followed by months of mediocrity. Meanwhile Coco's forehand is starting to get better and she is volleying her back hand more instead of slicing. If she meet Iga she won't get away with those slices when pulled wide.
I see Serena ( Coco )and Venus ( Sloane ) in these two ladies they are on their way to the top players in tennis.

Coco will have to play better if she's gonna beat someone like Swiatek, but her movement is very good. Especially the point at 2:38
Sloane making it this far was a surprise. I think she unnecessarily prolongs rallies before pulling the trigger. It reminds me of Monfils a bit. Now at the tail end of his career he's forced to go for winners sooner.
Fan of both, and though a 3rd set would have been great, happy for Coco Semis-French Open: Not bad for someone with no power…no serve (according to the naysayers)
