BEN HOGAN'S GRIP what it can do for YOU! HOGAN Full Swing

Ben Hogans grip and how it influences his swing are on show in this video. Ben Hogan’s grip and what it can do for you are amazing findings in this video where I try to put Ben Hogans book into life. The Hogan full swing is discussed in full in my previous videos so don’t miss them

For a golf swing that is CONSISTENT, provides a flat left wrist, compression, lag and more. Steve’s EUREKA GOLF SWING is now being implemented in 52 countries taking the golfers game to a place that allows the body to turn, the flight to straighten and compression to become a reality.
The starting place is the “iron swing series” offering the set of the Eureka Golf Swing canes and a step by step tutorial of the full action.
REMEMBER: as Steve says, “There is a difference between opening your stance and aiming left”.

  1. All your videos are, by far, the best ANYWHERE! Keep up the amazing work, and thank you.

  2. Hi Steve, you have a new fan. Englishman in Texas and I tried this today. Felt weird at first but results were instant. Very weird on my driver as I normally have a big fade. Straightened it out by opening my stance! It worked straight away! Very weird but very effective. Thanks for your easy to follow and simple tips.

  3. Nearly 60k subscribers 👍 Very well deserved Steve. Great content delivered with a good sense of humour.
I’m sure 100k will come soon.

  4. Amazing. This was what Hogan called his fundamental grip. It is interesting that you hit draws with it, because in the book (p32.) Hogan said that he made a personal modification for his own game with the left thumb being 1/2 inch to further to the left than the fundamental grip (i.e. on top of the club shaft). With this grip he was able to play a fade. The fact that you hit draws with the fundamental grip is very useful information because I have always been confused what stock shot shape I should expect to hit with the fundamental grip. Presumably, Hogan with his swing pattern could only play a draw with the fundamental grip that you have demonstrated. Interestingly, Hogan makes little or no mention of shot shapes in the book. So, thanks very much for clearing up the confusion.

  5. What was the video were you from the top pinched the club with the 2 middle fingers of the right hand

  6. I saw a slo mo swing analysis of Tommy Fleetwood last week – he actually lifts his right thumb off the shaft on the backswing. I’m led to believe Mr Fleetwood is a half decent ball striker (!) so you may be on to something here, Steve…😉. Many thanks for another brilliant ‘grip’ video, they’ve got me going right back to basics. 🙏

  7. he also knew that the right thumb and index finger were the key to controlling the club face. he would hold a broken tee in that union and have just enough pressure as to not let that tee come out.

  8. Dude I never heard it explained so simply! This helped more than any golf lesson! Thanks for the explanation and what’s comfortable for me and how it works! This allows to swing so naturally it’s crazy! I learned from you in 15 mins than all those other guys out there in 15 years! Thanks Steve! U da man!

  9. My grip was learnt from Hogans book But remember hogan was left handed playing right so you will have to do a lot of left side strengthening and coordination. I ve had to become almost ambidextrous! to get the most out of this weak left hand grip tho i have managed to get my left thumb to the right of the shaft and almost matching it with the my heel pad. Hogan bangs on about pressure in his right index knuckle and this is the key to using your right side in the golf swing, sustaining pressure on the grip, which is what the drill of swinging with right thumb off grip teaches you.

  10. May I ask how come your left leg position is behind & right leg is forward both are parallel. I understand for senior player the right is 1/2 step backward.

  11. Always enjoy your videos Steve you have a simple uncomplicated way of explaining them, I very often use your methods when Im on the range or the short game area, I have really enjoyed the Ben Hogan series it suits my swing path, really good stuff Steve and keep up the good work

  12. I have watched so many other people “analyze” this grip and it NEVER made sense. Finally!!!! Somebody who took the time and delve into the minutia, even hitting some kinesiology points. I took some time off and played 2x in the last 2 weeks. Once was with a former colleague who I haven’t seen in ages. I played disastrously both times.and I have been beating myself up over not putting in the practice. Today I watched this video multiple times and my swing felt like it used to when I would crush the ball. Only this time I didn’t beat the ball like it owed me $$$$$$. Thank you!

  13. I dropped 18 stokes immediately by aggressively pointing my left middle and ring finger to the sky at impact. It creates supination and a snap for increased power. I’m no Hogan but Steve you gotta do a lesson on it. I have not seen a single video on this. Changed my golf life. My Eureka!!!! Love all your videos!

  14. This is the most detailed instruction/demonstration of the Ben Hogan's grip…very fitting for my Ben Hogan's golf swing. Now my golf swing fundamentals complete! Thank you very much Steve….Cheers!!!

  15. Great vid Steve! I have been trying to get rid of my cupped left wrist at the top while using a strong grip with mixed results. Went to the weak Hogan style grip …Bingo.

  16. I've been trying to adjust my grip for months now according to recommendations from friends and videos. This video simplified everything I should have been doing all along! Thanks you so much for simply explaining and answering so many of my questions.

  17. You so called 'experts' have been arguing about this since Hoggy died. You still don't know the secret sooooo STFU!

  18. For such a tall guy, he can replicate hogan's swing and drills very well

  19. That is so interesting as you have lots of views having the pressure in the index of the right. I think Ben was right as it will help keep the right hand from rolling the face. His wrist was so very bent back that the index finger would be a death move for him.

  20. This grip literally changed my game, I also put it together with the Ben Hogan rotation video you made and I have never hit the ball straighter and more pure.

  21. Wee side note comment. Rocket Ronnie the snooker player grips his cue right hand the same. In snooker is called a trigger grip ie your pointing 👉 finger is open like firing a gun!!
