Your Golf Grip and Posture Could be Holding you Back!

How we prepare ourselves for the golf shot really matters, especially when most of us have learned a certain way which might have been counter to what our body really wanted to do!

Here are a couple drills/exercises to discover a more organic means of getting into that “ready state” to play a golf shot. Reverse engineered around the shot itself, the intention.

  1. This is a belter Marcus. A grip that lets the club release, a posture that lets our arms hang in a position to swing in front of the chest and a focus that leads to a swing out towards a target.
You just need to show everyone how to manage the low point now by positioning our center and being aware of where that is so the set up lets the swing react to the golf shot.

Most amateur golfers don’t realize how to let the loft put the ball in the air they, try to hit up on the ball subconsciously or maybe even consciously I mean the golf industry has no interest in teaching people the fundamentals so I wouldn’t be surprised if a lot of people have no idea how the club is supposed to work

  2. Never thought about finding the right grip and posture for me this way. Absolutely fantastic. Much appreciate the “outside-the- box” teaching that you and your staff at zen do. Keep it up. Cheers.

  3. If you have a bird in your golf grip, a man from the government may want to come have a talk with you. 😉

  4. They need cleaning the faces are filthy. Bird and toothpaste correct vees and knuckles not so much but I get the point.

  5. The Genuis of Marcus on full display here…..also nice cinematography to compliment it all……thank you!

  6. Thanks 👍it's wonderful drill.
Looking 👀forward to see more drill, it can be work out at home or indoor or driving range to create the body, hand & feeling in order to improve the swing as well as for middle age beginners 🙏🙏🙏🙏

  7. Thanks Marcus. Am I right in thinking that the grip could be different for a draw, fade, high, low shot? It feels like it to me when I do the 2 club drill.
