This just made me think that one of the most frustrating things I find about being a regular golfer, with no gallery or spotters, is finding your stupid ball when you get down to where you hit it. I've totally lost them right off the fairway in the rough. Just never could locate the thing. Those situations usually call for my old friend, the mulligan. Then I attemp what you're describing here. I usually don't mind playing from average rough.

  2. Good tips. I’ve gotten really good at hitting out of the rough. But then I do get a lot of practice.

  3. Thanks Adam, this should help me, I’ve noticed recently my rough game is pretty weak, I’ve been playing the ball further forward, so no wonder I’ve been struggling.

  4. Good vid, thank you. Do need to check voice levels on the mic I think – can see it was breezy, there was just a little distortion.
    I only wish our soggy, UK 'rough' looked as smart as yours 🙂
